Annette didn’t want to tell Maria of Richter’s absence. Well, she wasn’t even sure if Maria knew already. Instead, she giggled nervously and said. “Well, there hasn’t been much going on… How about you?”
“Oh my…” Maria also giggled nervously. “There’s been a few things going on, actually. I’m not even sure where to start.” She said with a big smile, ensuring Annette that these were all good things, indeed.

“Excellent. Got to keep the clan going somehow.” Julius murmured. That eliminate one possible cause of the clan’s disappearance.
“Well naturally…” Maria agreed. “…Why? Did something happen?” She asked, having to wonder about this line of inquiry.
Should he tell her? Answering about Alucard is one thing, but the disappearance of the clan is another. He didn’t want to cause the woman to worry about it. What if it causes a change in the timeline? Julius kept his happy expression and replied, “It’s nothing… I’m just a curious, old man.”
“Oh, well alright.” Maria blinked and tilted her head. He was acting a bit strange all of the sudden. But, she was sure that if it were really so important, that he’d tell her about it. So, she shrugged it off.

“I know! I missed you, too!” The younger of the two cried, nearly to the point of squealing. “So, how have you been? What have I missed out on??” She asked excitedly.

“Mhm, that’s correct.” Maria nodded. In fact, they may have already been married if it weren’t for the whole ‘disappearing act’ that happened years before. She’d have mentioned that, but at the same time, she didn’t want to give the poor man a heart attack over the story.
